APcSecure is a Rogue! Beware!

I thought the New Year will be the end of the old threats to your computers. However, I just wished that for 2010. However, these evil hackers do not seem to be on the way to stop their activities. On the contrary, they keep expanding their forces and changing names of the roguewares they create.
These aren't any exceptions as well: APcSecure, PcsSecure, APcSafe, and a huge list of others which I can't even remember because all these titles keep appearing on the web every single day.
All in all, the latest one and a rather popular one, unfortunately, is APcSecure. As other Winisofts, APcSecure has its own website and is promoted through different fake websites.
Don't ever trust it. I almost got this infection several days ago because of my blindness. NOD license has expired and I was just looking for some files on rapidlibrary. Luckily, APcSecure wasn't hiding in the video codec I downloaded from that site.
You'd be more careful. That's my advice.

P.S. if you need more information on APcSecure, follow this link.

APcDefender Attacking!

Have you heard the latest news? At least one of the latest? The Winisoft family, or Winiguard in other words, is ready to become one of the most spread rogueware creator on the web. In case of positive activity, I would be really happy about it but this time it's the worst news of the day. These evil guys will keep spreading their viruses on the web and that will cause more and more troubles to computer users.
Keep in mind that APcDefender is really dangerous. It will make your computer slower, change browser settings, as well as add strange icons to your desktop. Although all this doesn't seem to be really scary, things are more dangerous than you can expect.
If you want to find out more on this rogueware, read articles from the pc1news.com site:

On PC Software in Simple Terms

Take a look at this video.

Total PC Defender 2010 - A Total Disaster

This time I am going to tell you what other people talk about roguewares, specifically Total PC Defender 2010. Unfortunately, nothing positive can be said about it. But that's no wonder. All rogue applications are designed by evil hackers who try to fool money out of you. If you aren't ready to give your money easily, then don't have anything in common with Total PC Defender 2010.
I have read an article on one blog how an middle aged lady from US somewhere who was given a computer to use got this infection and, of course, believed in the application and spend a part of her pension for the so-called software. Unfortunately, she won't be able to get her money back. Sorry to hear that but that's the way it is.
Don't be the next victim of Total PC Defender 2010. If your computer is already infected, remove the rogueware following the instructions from this site.

Don't Erase All the Info from your PC with SpyEraser

Happy New Year first of all!:)
How was your celebration? Did you have a great time?
It seems that with the New Year, new hackers have started their attacks. This time they created SpyEraser which will erase all the necessary information from your PCs rather than fix it.
On PC forums, I read that some people have been fighting this virus for several days and still were unable to remove it. Maybe we could help them by sharing our own experience with fighting SpyEraser in particular, as well as other roguewares.
I can start that I visit xp-vista.com site for removal instructions. They seem to have tracked this rogueware as well. Here is the link. We just have to wait for the removal instructions here.
Has anyone else more information on SpyEraser? You are welcome to share!
